Okay, Todays review is of Republic of Tea’s Palace Jasmine blooming tea which is a Central Market Exclusive. This tea is a green tea with Jasmine. I figured it only makes sense to make a video of it, since it is blooming. Unfortunately in the video, my pot isn’t big enough for the tea to really blossom as it should. Regardless, it is really cool.

I figured I should show a better picture of the bloom, since it is hard to see in the video.
To brew this tea, put it at 205 degrees, then let it steep for 2-3 minutes or until the bloom is done. It may also be steeped around 3-4 times, or until the flavor is gone.

In China, they call this tea the “Jasmine Imortal Princess”, and it is pretty great. It is a very relaxing tea, my friends Brandon and Eddie agreed with this. It is a very mellow taste, not very strong but has a mild bitter taste that is just right. As with the last blooming tea I reviewed, you need to empty the pot completely after each steep because if you don’t then it will come out very bitter. I suggest it over the last blooming tea I reviewed also, it is much higher quality.
Well, thats it today. Let me know if you guys like the video and such. Until next time, have a Tea-riffic day!

This is how Pu-erh tea is traditionally distributed, in a brick. What you would do is break some off and put it in the water.

I thought this was a really cool video to post to give everyone what it is like to make a blooming tea, and also how incredibly easy it is to do. The video isn’t sped up at all either, it doesn’t take very long to make a blooming tea.
I’d actually like to do this in the near future, I think it would be a really cool post. Should have a blooming review up tomorrow. Until then, have a Tea-riffic day!
